Oh, where do we even BEGIN?? Haha. This is our absolute DREAM job. If you had told us 5 years ago that this would be our full-time job, we would not have believed you! We both went to college for teaching (which we did for several years!), but then GOD called us out of it and into our wedding planning business. He didn't have to tell us twice, haha! We were THRILLED. We always thought it would just be a hobby and nothing else! And that we would have to keep our other jobs. He is so good!

One of the reasons why we're called "Double Blessing Events" is because with us, you not only get a wedding planning company, but you also get a ministry! We not only help our couples plan their perfect dream weddings, but we help them grow spiritually, as well. We offer Christian premarital counseling with all the brides and grooms who hire us, as well as what we call "Breakthrough Sessions" or "Freedom Sessions." And these are to basically go through all the spiritual trash that you're holding onto (knowingly or unknowingly) so that you can become the husband and wife that GOD is calling you to be. He wants you to walk in COMPLETE freedom, and that's what we help our couples do. :)

1. Full Wedding Planning Package: We walk through your side from start to finish through the entire planning process! As soon as we start working together, we sit down to nail your wedding vision, your priorities that are the most important to you, and your budget! From there, we take exactly what you want and help you find your venue, caterer, photographer, DJ, bartenders, etc. We create your design board with inspiration pictures, flowers, and your color palette, we make sure you stay on budget, and we help with literally everything! If it has to do with your wedding in any way, then we're here to help. :)
We don't want to plan your wedding FOR you, we want to plan your wedding WITH you. Think of it like the two of you are in the driver's seat, and we just come alongside you in the passenger seat with the GPS, guiding you on where you want to go! Because this isn't Chelsey and Danae's wedding; it's YOUR wedding. We're your cheerleaders, and you ultimately make the final decision! We're just here to guide you, give you our expertise and suggestions, and make sure you have the best day possible. :)
As the wedding day draws closer, we'll confirm all your vendors, finalize details, and make sure they have everything they need! We'll coordinate your entire rehearsal for you, and you'll get us for 10 hours on the wedding day, along with a wedding day assistant! Just so everything goes according to plan. :)

2. Day-of Coordination Package: This wedding planning package is best for you if you've got the planning down, you know what you want, and you just need someone to come in at the end, tie up the loose ends, and make sure your wedding day goes seamlessly! We'll have two planning meetings the month before the wedding so we can nail down your timeline and all the details, we'll reach out to all your vendors to confirm with them and give them all the details they need, we'll coordinate your rehearsal (so that all you have to do is show up!), and we'll be there to make sure everything on your wedding day goes perfectly! You will get one main coordinator, along with a wedding day assistant so that everything goes according to plan. :)

3. Dream Wedding Planning Membership: This is for you DIY brides out there! Our wedding planning membership is a 100% online program, so that you can plan your entire wedding in your PJs on your couch! It's basically like having us as your wedding planning coaches. :) You don't want to pay the price of a full Dallas wedding planner, or maybe you feel pretty confident about planning a wedding, but you'd love to have help from a professional! Whatever the reason is, this is perfect for you if you just need a little guidance. You've never planned a wedding before, and you just want to make sure you're on the right track and not forgetting any important detail!
You'll get access to the entire Dream Wedding Planning Membership in your online portal, and it's structured like a table of contents. Everything is in order chronologically of what you should plan when, but you can also jump around if you need to! You get all of our wedding planning resources (our timelines, spreadsheets, seating chart maker, budget calculator, questions to ask vendors, etc.), and you can join for however many months you'd like. :)

One of my absolute FAVORITE weddings with my couple, Amber and Grant. Oh my gosh, that was the BEST wedding ever. Amber is seriously one of my best friends now. I had NO idea what GOD had in store when she hired me! Not only was their wedding a destination wedding in San Diego on the beach, but when I went to San Diego for the wedding, it seriously felt like I was going to see family. Not going for my job.
Throughout the wedding planning process, I felt like we talked more about our lives and faith and what GOD was doing than the wedding itself! Haha! And man, did we plan a BREATH-TAKING wedding. Wow. She and Grant could not have been more happy! She spent at least 15 or 20 minutes with me at the end of her wedding night telling me how grateful she was for me, and how much GOD was using me. 😭 She keeps telling me how much of a blessing I was for her and Grant, and how much she needed me, but she doesn't realize that it was ME that needed HER. ❤️ Wow, I cannot wait to spend the rest of this earthly life, and then eternity, with this woman.

I love getting to serve my clients. That's the biggest thing. I have such a passion for people and getting to see them live their best lives. If I can be a positive part of any part of their life journey, that is a win for me. My favorite part of what I do is getting to see the joy on my client's faces when they see their vision come to life. It is so rewarding.
Oh my goodness! Where do I begin? Those two questions are almost one in the same for me. My whole business journey has been a faith walk or "step of faith." There have been so many times I have considered quitting what I do, but every time I've thought about it, God has sent a client my way that reminds me why I do what I do.
Even though it is a career, this really is my ministry. God gave me the gifts I have to be able to do what I do. To neglect using them would be a disservice to the kingdom and how God would like me to impact it through my business. My faith has grown so much through my entrepreneurship journey. God has been so faithful through every step.
I love working with clients that are dreamers, but allow room for reality. Those are my people. Haha! I understand them because I'm also a dreamer. Apart from that, I enjoy working with multicultural couples. It's always cool to get to incorporate different aspects of their cultures to create a wedding that reflects them well.
We have a Destination Wedding Planning Package which starts at $6,000. Full Planning Package which starts at $4,500. Wedding Management Package (Month of) which starts at $1,500. Apart from those three packages we have a Planning Consultant option which allows DIY bride's to get a professional's help without having to hire a wedding planner. $100/hr or $225 for three 1-hr sessions. We also have a photo booth. Clients are able to get 10-15% off the photo booth when they book one of our packages.
I don't know if I have a favorite, but the most memorable one was a multicultural wedding. The bride was Mexican-Guatemalan and the groom was American. It was by far the most stressful wedding I have ever planned, but it was also the most rewarding. I planned the wedding in two months. It was about 120 guests.
The thing that made that wedding most memorable was the spiritual aspects that were part of the ceremony, some of the different cultural things we infused into the wedding, and and the vendors we got to work with. Everyone was in such a good mood. All the vendors were dancing where they were working. It was such a wholesome wedding. Everyone from the guests to the couple, and the vendors alike, had a great time. When you have a solid team of vendors and a planner that is good at their job, it helps everyone not to be stressed. The bride and groom were so grateful and said the wedding was even better than they imagined it would be.
